2Cihazında kalan veriler

Aşağıdakiler yalnızca iPhone'unda Underscore'a ayrılmış depolamada tutulur; bize ya da üçüncü bir tarafa gönderilmez:

• Defter: altını çizdiğin satırlar ve kendi eklediğin alıntılar
• Satırların sana gösterilme sırası ve okuma serin
• Dil, kart ve bildirim tercihlerin
• Akış görsellerinin geçici önbelleği

Bu verilere biz erişemeyiz. iPhone'unu iCloud'a ya da bilgisayara yedekliyorsan bu veriler, cihazının ayarlarına göre o yedeğe dahil olabilir; yedekleme Apple ile senin aranda gerçekleşir. Uygulamayı sildiğinde cihazdaki veriler de silinir.

3Kamera, fotoğraflar ve bildirimler

• Kamera: “Kendi alıntın” özelliğinde kitap sayfasını çekmek için, yalnızca sen başlattığında ve iznin varsa kullanılır. Metin Apple'ın cihaz içi metin tanıma özelliğiyle çıkarılır; fotoğraf kaydedilmez ve hiçbir yere gönderilmez.
• Galeriden seçim: Fotoğraf seçici Apple'ın sistem ekranıdır; uygulama yalnızca seçtiğin fotoğrafı görür, fotoğraf arşivine erişmez.
• Fotoğraflar'a kaydetme: Paylaşım kartını kaydetmek için yalnızca ekleme izni istenir; uygulama fotoğraf arşivini okuyamaz.
• Bildirimler: Sabah gelen günlük satır bildirimi ve o gün satırını okumadıysan akşam gelen hatırlatma cihazında zamanlanır; bir sunucudan gönderilmez. İzni istediğin zaman iOS Ayarlar → Bildirimler → Underscore bölümünden kapatabilirsin.

4İşlediğimiz teknik veriler

Uygulama ve site internete bağlandığında, her bağlantının doğası gereği bazı teknik veriler karşı tarafa ulaşır. Bunlar kişisel veri sayılabildiği için aşağıda tek tek gösteriyoruz.

Bu verileri bir kişiyle eşleştirmeyiz, profil çıkarmayız, satmayız ve reklam için kullanmayız. underscore.day çerez kullanmaz ve tarayıcının yerel deposuna veri yazmaz. Sitenin yazı tipleri de siteden sunulur; ziyaretin sırasında Google ya da başka bir yazı tipi hizmetine istek gitmez.

5Verileri kimlerle paylaşıyoruz

• Cloudflare, Inc. (ABD): underscore.day sitesini ve Akış sunucusunu barındırır; verileri bizim adımıza işler. Cloudflare'ın sunucuları dünyanın birçok ülkesindedir ve isteğin sana en yakın sunucuda karşılanır; bu yüzden teknik veriler Türkiye ve Avrupa Birliği dışında da işlenebilir. Bu aktarım, hizmetin internet üzerinden sunulabilmesi için teknik olarak gereklidir ve Cloudflare'ın veri işleme koşulları (AB Standart Sözleşme Hükümleri dahil) çerçevesinde yapılır. • E-posta hizmet sağlayıcımız: bize yazdığın e-postaları iletir ve saklar.
• Apple: Uygulama App Store üzerinden dağıtılır. İndirme, güncelleme ve geçmiş satın almalar Apple'ın kendi sorumluluğunda işlenir. iOS'ta Ayarlar → Gizlilik ve Güvenlik → Analizler ve İyileştirmeler → “Uygulama Geliştiricileriyle Paylaş” açıksa Apple, çökme raporlarını ve toplu kullanım istatistiklerini kimliğini belirtmeden bizimle paylaşır. • Yayıncılar: Akış'taki bir habere dokunduğunda yazı, yayıncının kendi sitesinde açılır.
• Yetkili kamu kurumları: yalnızca kanunen zorunlu olduğunda ve zorunlu olduğu ölçüde.

Kişisel verilerini satmayız, kiralamayız ve reklam amacıyla kimseyle paylaşmayız.

6Eski sürümler ve abonelikler

Underscore 1.1'den önceki sürümlerde Underscore Plus aboneliği satın alınabiliyordu. O sürümlerde abonelik durumu RevenueCat, Inc. (ABD) hizmetiyle doğrulanıyor, bu sırada rastgele üretilmiş bir uygulama kimliği ve satın alma geçmişi RevenueCat'e iletiliyordu. 1.1 ile satın almalar ve RevenueCat bağlantısı kaldırıldı; güncel sürüm RevenueCat'e ya da başka bir üçüncü tarafa veri göndermez.

Ödemeler her zaman Apple tarafından işlendi; kart ya da ödeme bilgilerin bize hiç ulaşmadı. Eski kayıtlarla ilgili bir talebin varsa bize yaz.

7Çocuklar

Underscore hiçbir kullanıcıdan hesap ya da kimlik bilgisi istemez; dolayısıyla çocuklardan da bilerek kişisel veri toplamaz. Bir çocuğun bize e-postayla kişisel veri gönderdiğini fark edersen bize yaz; yazışmayı sileriz.

8Güvenlik

Site ve Akış yalnızca şifreli bağlantı (HTTPS) üzerinden sunulur. Hesap sistemi olmadığı için sızabilecek bir parola ya da kullanıcı profili yoktur. Cihazındaki veriler iOS'un uygulama yalıtımı ve cihaz şifrelemesiyle korunur.

9Hakların ve başvuru

KVKK'nın 11. maddesi uyarınca şu haklara sahipsin:

• Kişisel verilerinin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme ve işlenmişse buna ilişkin bilgi isteme
• İşlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme
• Yurt içinde ya da yurt dışında aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme
• Eksik ya da yanlış işlenmişse düzeltilmesini, KVKK'nın 7. maddesindeki şartlarla silinmesini ya da yok edilmesini isteme ve bu işlemlerin verilerin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişilere bildirilmesini isteme
• Yalnızca otomatik sistemlerle analiz edilmesi sonucunda aleyhine bir sonuç çıkmasına itiraz etme
• Kanuna aykırı işleme nedeniyle zarara uğradıysan zararın giderilmesini isteme

Avrupa Birliği'nde yaşıyorsan GDPR uyarınca verilerine erişme, düzeltilmesini, silinmesini ve işlenmesinin kısıtlanmasını isteme, veri taşınabilirliği ve işlemeye itiraz haklarına da sahipsin.

Cihazında kalan verilere biz erişemediğimiz için onları Defter'den kaldırarak ya da uygulamayı silerek kendin silebilirsin.

Başvurun reddedilirse, yanıtı yetersiz bulursan ya da 30 gün içinde yanıt alamazsan, yanıtı öğrendiğin tarihten itibaren 30 gün ve her hâlde başvuru tarihinden itibaren 60 gün içinde Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu'na şikâyette bulunabilirsin. Avrupa Birliği'nde yaşıyorsan bulunduğun ülkenin veri koruma denetim makamına başvurabilirsin.

10Dış bağlantılar

Uygulamadaki “Kaynak” bağlantısı Vikipedi'yi, Akış'taki haberler yayıncının sitesini, indirme bağlantıları App Store'u açar. Underscore'dan ayrıldığında gittiğin sitenin gizlilik politikası geçerli olur.

11Değişiklikler

Bu politikayı güncellediğimizde yukarıdaki tarihi değiştiririz. Verileri işleme biçimimizi esaslı olarak değiştiren bir güncellemeyi bu sayfada açıkça belirtiriz.

1Scope and controller

This policy covers the Underscore iOS app, its widgets and the underscore.day website.

Write to this address with any question or request about your personal data.

2Data that stays on your device

The following is kept only in the storage your iPhone reserves for Underscore; it is never sent to us or to any third party:

• Your Notebook: the lines you underline and the quotes you add yourself
• The order in which lines are shown to you, and your reading streak
• Your language, card and notification preferences
• A temporary cache of Feed images

We have no access to this data. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, this data may be included in that backup, depending on your device settings; backups happen between you and Apple. Deleting the app deletes this data from your device.

3Camera, photos and notifications

• Camera: used only when you start “Your own quote” to photograph a book page, and only with your permission. The text is extracted with Apple's on-device text recognition; the photo is not saved and is never sent anywhere.
• Choosing from your library: the photo picker is Apple's system screen; the app only sees the photo you choose and has no access to your library.
• Saving to Photos: saving a share card asks only for add-only access; the app cannot read your photo library.
• Notifications: the daily line in the morning, and an evening reminder if you have not read that day's line, are scheduled on your device; they are not sent from a server. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Underscore.

4Technical data we process

Whenever the app or the website connects to the internet, some technical data necessarily reaches the other side. Because it can count as personal data, we list it here one by one.

We do not link this data to a person, build profiles, sell it or use it for advertising. underscore.day sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's local storage. The site's fonts are served from the site itself, so your visit sends no request to Google or any other font service.

5Who we share data with

• Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosts the underscore.day website and the Feed server and processes data on our behalf. Cloudflare runs servers in many countries and answers each request from the one nearest to you, so technical data may be processed outside Türkiye and the European Union. This transfer is technically necessary to deliver the service over the internet and takes place under Cloudflare's data processing terms, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. • Our email provider: delivers and stores the emails you send us.
• Apple: the app is distributed through the App Store. Downloads, updates and past purchases are handled by Apple under its own responsibility. If “Share With App Developers” is on in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple shares crash reports and aggregated usage statistics with us without identifying you. • Publishers: when you tap a story in the Feed, it opens on the publisher's own website.
• Public authorities: only when the law requires it, and only to the extent it requires.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

6Earlier versions and subscriptions

Versions before Underscore 1.1 offered an Underscore Plus subscription. In those versions the subscription status was checked through RevenueCat, Inc. (USA), which received a randomly generated app user ID and the purchase history. Version 1.1 removed purchases and the RevenueCat connection; the current version sends no data to RevenueCat or any other third party.

Payments were always processed by Apple; your card or payment details never reached us. If you have a request about older records, write to us.

7Children

Underscore asks no user for an account or identifying details, so it does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you notice that a child has sent us personal data by email, let us know and we will delete the conversation.

8Security

The website and the Feed are served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). With no account system, there are no passwords or user profiles that could leak. Data on your device is protected by iOS app sandboxing and device encryption.

9Your rights and how to make a request

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it
• Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred
• Ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected, for data to be erased or destroyed under Article 7 of the KVKK, and for these actions to be notified to the third parties who received the data
• Object to an outcome against you that results solely from automated analysis
• Claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing

If you live in the European Union, the GDPR also gives you the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection.

Because we have no access to the data on your device, you can delete it yourself by removing items from your Notebook or deleting the app.

If your request is refused, if you find the answer insufficient, or if you get no answer within 30 days, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days of learning the answer and in any case within 60 days of your request. If you live in the European Union, you may also complain to the data protection authority of your country.

10External links

The “Source” link in the app opens Wikipedia, Feed stories open the publisher's website, and download links open the App Store. Once you leave Underscore, the destination site's privacy policy applies.

11Changes

When we update this policy, we change the date above. Any update that materially changes how we process data will be clearly marked on this page.
